About my project
Working alongside the Finance team, engineers and designers, we launched the Payout Release feature that provides sellers with an added option to expedite their payouts. This helps to enhance predictability of cash flows and align sellers' expectations of the internal payout processes. I managed the end-to-end process of this feature. This covers documenting user stories for the engineers, collaborating with designers on feature design, and performing UAT testing on the features.
The feature helped Novelship achieved a ~40% reduction in payout processing time & allowed for greater flexibility for merchants.

About my project
Under the Product Management team, I design and re-engineer product analytics, marketing and sales dashboards for the business unit and upper management using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online. I also set up the Tableau backend to optimize dashboard performance and automated dashboard sharing.

ANL488 Business Analytics Applied Project: The goal of this project is to determine the most effective data mining approach in identifying the top predictors of HDB resale prices and understand the extent of their influence. This would help potential buyers understand the intrinsic value of a flat and decide if it is undervalued, fair or overvalued. This was an individual project.
More Information
I used Python for this project, using pandas for data manipulation, matplotlib for visualisation and scikit-learn to experiment with classification, regression & clustering algorithms.
During the second semester of my penultimate year, I took on the Teaching Assistant role with my university. I taught Tableau and SQL for beginner and intermediate levels. During the COVID-19 situation, we launched virtual sessions to continue with our programme.
I view teaching as way to solidify my learning and identify gaps in my knowledge. Learning with the intention to teach changed the way I process new knowledge. It helped me to learn deeply and actively process the concepts I have learned. Most importantly, it gave the me opportunity to help the student community.
